Lunch at Melrose then take in some rugby. Tynedale playing here today.

Midday

Well the sun has finally gone. Now we have rain as we headi into St Boswell.

Bacon blog

Phil made bacon sandwiches today. They were very nice.

Day 3

We rose at 8 to find we had the campsite to ourselves. Which helped since Julian early morning gas leak nearly saw the end of Phil and himself

Tents pitched at Coldstream next to Hirsel Lake. Very picturesque. 120 miles done. 80 miles to go.

Day 2

After a pleasant nights sleep we were woken to the beautiful and varied sounds of the country. Opening the tent doors to reveal little fluffy bunnies frolicing around us

Belford

Made it to campsite at 6.30. Now to put tents up

Seahouses

5.30 and at seahouses. 7 mile to Belford. Then rest :-)

Been shopping. Tent from argos £15 and airbed from Blacks £10. Last of the big spenders i am. But i'm sure they'll do the job

The Calm before the storm

Well training has stopped due to the weather. May get out tomorrow. Tickets bought though for journey back.
